CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-385 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPEAL OF TED MAVRIDIS TO <br />THE DECISION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT, Tt~REBY <br />ALLOWING CONSTRUCTION OF A TRIPLEX AT 276 SPRING <br />STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 14, 1981, the Board of <br />Adjustment denied case V-80-26, the application of <br />Ted Mavridis for a variance from the requirements <br />of the Code to allow the construction of a triplex <br />at 276 Spring Street which would not meet the <br />parking requirements of the Code and would have <br />insufficient open space; and <br /> <br />WHEKEAS, <br /> <br />within the time specified by the Ordinance Code of <br />the City of Pleasanton, Mr. Mavridis submitted an <br />appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEP~AS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 10, 1981, the City <br />Council received a report from the Director of <br />Planning and Community Development together with a <br />copy of the Staff report to the Board of Adjustment <br />regarding this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held at which time the applicant <br />and any other member of the public was offered an <br />opportunity to present evidence regarding this <br />appeal; and <br /> <br />there are several spec{al Circumstances regarding <br />this property, among Which are the facts that the <br />lot is abnormally small, there is an existing <br />building on the property, and there are several <br />Heritage trees which are desired to be incorporated <br />into the project; and <br /> <br />WttEREAS, <br /> <br />numerous other small apartments in the neighborhood <br />don't have the required parking or the open space <br />required by the Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: ApproVes'the appeal of Ted Mavridis to a decision <br /> of the Board of Adjustment and grants a variance which <br /> allows the construction of a triplex at 276 Spring <br /> Street which would not meet code requirements for <br /> parking and open space, subject to conditions set <br /> forth below. <br /> <br /> <br />
