Negotiations for right-of-way for the project <br />should investigate the feasibility of acquiring <br />the adjacent residence immediately rather than <br />waiting for the second phase of the road and <br />bridge construction. <br /> <br />The City is to negotiate with the County for <br />pedestrian access on the County right-of-way <br />on Vineyard Avenue from the existing City limit <br />west of Mavis Drive to the right angle turn <br />north of Vine Street. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorize the staff to obtain appraisals of the <br /> value of rights-of-way required for the project and <br /> commence negotiations with the property owners for the <br /> purchase of the right-of-way. <br /> <br />Section 3: Approves the agreement for Engineering Consulting <br /> Services with MacKay and Somps to complete the final <br /> plans and specifications for the project and authorizes <br /> the appropriate city officials to execute the agreement. <br /> <br />Section 4: Directs staff to negotiate with Mr. Auf der Maur <br /> for construction of the necessary extension of the <br /> Del Valle Parkway on his property. <br /> <br />Section 5: The staff is directed to cause a Notice of <br /> Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) <br /> of Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br />Section 6: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOV~{BER 24, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, l~od and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~~R~R <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Wal Clerk <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FO~ : <br /> <br /> ty Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
