Degree <br /> <br />2-1/2% <br /> <br />Intermediate POST Certificate - <br />The Intermediate POST Certificate <br />must be accompanied with 60 approved <br />semester units or their quarter hour <br />equivalents to be eligible for incentive <br />pay <br /> <br />2-1/2% <br /> <br />Sixty (60) accredited semester units <br />or their quarter hour equivalents <br /> <br />2-1/2% <br /> <br />B.S. or B.A. Degree <br /> <br />5% <br /> <br />One hundred twenty semester <br />units or their quarter hour <br />equivalents <br /> <br />(i20) <br /> <br />5% <br /> <br />Advanced POST Certificate - The <br />Advanced POST Certificate must be <br />accompanied with 120 approved semester <br />units or their quarter hour equivalents <br />to be eligible for incentive pay <br /> <br />5% <br /> <br />M.S. or M.A. Degree 5% <br /> <br />NOTE: The above educational levels are not cumulative. <br />The maximum educatlonal incentive pay received by a sihgle <br />employee shall not exceed 5%; nor shall an employee receive <br />incentive pay for more than one educational level at the <br />2-1/2% rate nor more than one educational level at the <br />5% rate. <br /> <br />Documentation of Educational Achievement <br /> <br />Evidence of successful completion of a degree or <br />certificate shall consist of either of the following: <br /> <br />1.' Diploma or certificate indicating the <br /> major field of study. <br />2. Letter from the college registrar certifying <br /> award of the degree or certificate and the <br /> major field of study. <br /> <br />Evidence of completion of the required accredited <br />semester units or quarter hour equivalents may <br />consist of any of the following: <br /> <br />College transcript of grades. <br />Official grade slips from each of the courses. <br />Letter from the college registrar certifying <br />the completion of each course with a grade of <br />"C" or better. <br /> <br />-16- <br /> <br /> <br />
