RESOLUTION NO. 82-63 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL FOR SPECIAL ~ <br /> ASSESSMENT PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br /> VALLEY BUSINESS PARK ASSESSMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br />SENTE ASSOCIATES SEVEN, a California general partner- <br /> <br />ship, and VALLEY BUSINESS ASSOCIATES, <br />("the developer") is to undertake the <br />ing described public improvements: <br /> <br />a general partnership, <br />construction of the follow- <br /> <br />The acquisition or construction of streets and utilities <br />in and adjacent to Tract 4889, Valley Business Park, <br />including street paving, curb and gutters, sidewalk, <br />a system of sanitary sewers, a system of water supply, <br />storm drainage facilities, street lights and all other <br />necessary appurtenances in and along Serpentine Lane, <br />Quarry Lane, Boulder Street from Quarry Lane to the <br />east boundary of Tract 4889 and Valley Avenue from the <br />east boundary of Tract 4889 westerly to Santa Rita Road, <br />together with signalization at the intersection of <br />Quarry Lane and Valley Avenue and the acquisition of any <br />necessary interests in real property. <br /> <br />The developer has proposed to this Council that the City <br /> <br />Council undertake special assessment proceedings to acquire these <br /> <br />public improvements after their completion, the cost of the acqui- <br /> <br />sition to be assessed on property of the developer benefiting from <br /> <br />the improvements~ <br /> <br />The City Council accepts this proposal in principle, subject <br /> <br />to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the special assessment proceedings shall be taken <br /> <br />under the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, with improvement bonds <br /> <br />to be issued under the Improvement Bond Act of 1915; <br /> <br />2. That unit prices for the construction of the improve- <br /> <br />ments to be acquired shall be submitted to the City Director of Public <br /> <br />Works in advance of construction for his review and approval, and <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
