Employees submitting requests for reimbursement for books shall submit to <br />the Personnel Officer the original purchase receipt in addition to the <br />receipt showing the monies received through resale of said books. <br /> <br />If, however, the books are determined by the Personnel OfficEr to be an <br />asset to the City, the Personnel Officer may elect at his discretion to <br />reimburse the employee the full cost of said books, the latter becoming <br />the possession of the City. The Personnel Officerts decision regarding <br />the purchase of textbooks shall be final. <br /> <br />V. Compensation Comparisons <br /> <br />In future negotiations the compensation paid to comparable classifications <br />in Jurisdictions within Alameda County shall be considered. <br /> <br />It is mutually reco~nended that the modifications shown abovebe made applicable <br />on the dates indicated and, in conjunction with the existing rules, regulations <br />and ordinances of the city, shall constitute the wages, hours and working condi- <br />tions for those employees represented by City of Pleasanton Police Management <br />Unit, Operating Engineers Union Local #3 for the period January 1, 1982, through <br />December 31, 1983.
