13.2 Dental <br /> <br />Effective March 1, 1982 the City shall contribute an <br />amount not to exceed thirty four dollars and fourteen <br />cents ($34.14) per month per employee to provide dental <br />care benefits under the city's present Banker's Life <br />Nebraska Plan for the individual employee and eligible <br />dependents. Effective March 1, 1983, the city's <br />contribution shall be increased to an amount not to <br />exceed thirty seven dollars and fifty cents ($37.50) <br />per month per employee, except that should the monthly <br />premium for the present Banker's Life Nebraska dental <br />plan for the employee and eligible dependents on <br />March 1, 1983 be more than thirty seven dollars and fifty <br />cents ($37.50) the city's maximum monthly contribution <br />shall be increased on March 1, 1983 by one half of the <br />dollar difference between said Banker's Life monthly <br />premium and thirty seven dollars and fifty cents ($37.50). <br /> <br />13.3 <br /> <br />Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Long Term <br />Disability <br /> <br />The City shall contribute an amount necessary to provide <br />$10,000 life and $10,000 accidental death and dismember- <br />ment insurance coverage for the individual full time <br />employee. Effective July 1, 1980, the City shall improve <br />the aforesaid coverage to $20,000 life and $20,000 acci- <br />dental death and dismemberment coverage. <br /> <br />Effective January 1, 1981, the city shall contribute <br />an amount necessary to provide long term disability <br />insurance under the present Standard Insurance Company <br />group policy for the individual full time employee; <br />provided, however, that in no event shall the City <br />be obligated to contribute an amount in excess of <br />One and Seven one-hundredths Dollars ($1.07) per one <br />hundred dollars ($100) of monthly salary of the first <br />$2,250 of monthly salary not to exceed a total con- <br />tribution of Twenty-four and Eight One-hundredths <br />Dollars ($24.08) per month per employee. <br /> <br />Section 14. Retirement <br /> <br />The City shall amend its PERS Local Miscellaneous <br />Member Retirement Plan for the purpose of adopting <br />PERS "credit for unused sick leave option." <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Effective March 1, 1982, the city shall pay the <br />employee's contribution to the Public Employees' <br />Retirement System (PERS).
