~E~AS, <br /> <br />~E~AS, <br /> <br />WIlEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />WtIEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-157 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLAP~TION <br />FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT (GP-82-1) CHANGING <br />THE LAND USE DESIGNATION AND REZONING PROPERTY ON <br />THE EAST SIDE OF SANTA RITA ROAD APPROXIMATELY 250 <br />FT. NORTH OF ITS INTERSECTION WITH THE SOUTHERN <br />PACIFIC RAILROAD TRACKS <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 11, 1982, the City Council <br />received a proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration <br />for a General Plan amendment changing the land use <br />designation of an approximately 3.9 acre site <br />located on the east side of Santa Rita Road approxi- <br />mately 250 ft. north of its intersection with the <br />Southern Pacific railroad tracks from "Medium <br />Density Residential" to "General and Limited <br />Industrial" and for rezoning the property from the <br />'W[Agricultural) to "I-P" (Industrial Park) District; <br />and <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated February 1, 1982 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />General Plan amendment and rezoning; and <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance wih the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Mitigated <br />Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact <br />Reports; and <br /> <br />the City Council finds that based upon the review <br />of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- <br />mentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there may be significant impacts on the <br />environment, but that conditions listed in Section <br />1 below as mitigations render these potential <br />impacts insignificant; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
