CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. ~2-146 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WILLIAMSON ACT RULES AND <br />PROCEDURES FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Williamson Act allows local jurisdictions to <br />implement its provisions by adopting local rules <br />and procedures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton will inherit lands regulated <br />by the provisions of the Williamson Act through <br />annexation and, from time to time, may entertain <br />requests for Williamson Act regulation from among <br />owners of land located within the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, local rules and procedures are necessary to <br /> implement the Williamson Act; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: That the rules and procedures contained in <br /> Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, <br /> shall be the rules and procedures governing the <br /> implementation of the Williamson Act in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 27, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood <br /> <br /> and Mayor <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Butler <br /> <br />BUTLER, <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Brian W.
