That neither present nor anticipated future traffic volumes generated by the use of the site or the uses of sites in the vicinity reasonably require strict or literal inter- pretation and enforcement of the specified regulation. That the granting of the variance will not result in the parking or loading of vehicles on public streets in such a manner as to interfere with the free flow of traffic on the streets. f , That the granting of the variance will not create a safety hazard or any other condition inconsistent with the objectives of this chapter. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON P~SOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the appeal of Wanda Aldrich to the decision of the Board of Adjustment and grants the variance request subject to the following two conditions: (1) That the variance is granted for the property located at 541 Main Street now called Bobbie's High Style Beauty Salon and that there shall be no expansion of this business beyond the 13-1/2' to 17' wide by 61' long area which it now occupies and as shown on the site plan, Exhibit A on file with the Planning Division. (2) That the property owner and/or beauty shop operator agree to make all repairs and revisions to the structure necessary to bring it into conformance with the building code and fire code, as determined by the Chief Building Inspector and the Fire Marshall, and that these modifications shall be made in an expeditious manner. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
