RESOLUTION NO. 82-240 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL FOR SPECIAL <br /> ASSESSMENT PROCEEDINGS FOR <br /> <br />MEYER BUSINESS CENTER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br />Robert E. Meyer (the developer) is to undertake the <br /> <br />construction of the following described public improvement: <br /> <br />The acquisition Of streets, including clearing, <br />grading, subbase, base, pavement, curbs and gutters, <br />and driveways; sidewalks, storm drainage facilities; <br />sanitary sewers and appurtenances; a system of domes- <br />tic water supply including fire hydrants; street lights <br />and underground electrical distribution facilities; traffic <br />signal; landscaping; and all other improvements and ap- <br />purtenances necessary for a complete scheme of public <br />improvements in Tract 3769, including the acquisition <br />of capacity in existing water and sewage disposal <br />facilities. <br /> <br />The developer proposes to this Council that the <br /> <br />City Council undertake special assessment proceedings to acquire <br /> <br />these public improvements after their completion, the cost of the <br /> <br />acquisition to be assessed on the property of the developer <br /> <br />benefiting from the improvements. <br /> <br />This City Council accepts this proposal in principle <br /> <br />subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the special assessment proceedings shall <br /> <br />be taken under the Municipal Improvement Act Of 1913, with im- <br /> <br />provement bonds to be issued under the Improvement Bond Act of <br /> <br />1915. <br /> <br />2. That the described improvements shall be certi- <br /> <br />fied by the Director of Public Works as complete and ready for <br /> <br />acceptance before the adoption of the resolution of intention. <br /> <br /> <br />
