Attendance at all other public meetings of City at which matters relating to the assessment district are considered, except routine matters. g. Attendance at staff meetings or meetings of property owners upon the request of the City, after reasonable notice. h. Telephone consultation with staff members and prop6rty owners to answer.engineering questions about the assessment proceedings. i. Preparation of a final cost schedule after completion of the im- provement and payment of all incidental expenses. 2. The services of Engineer under this agreement shall not'include the following: Preparation of an environmental assessment to determine whether the improvement will have a significant impact on the environment within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act. b. Preparation of an Environmental Impact Report. c. Inspection of the work of City's contractor and certification to the City of contractor's entitlement to progress payments. d. Work on bond segregations and/or subdivision and parcel maps. The On-site construction review or negotiations in connection with right-of-way acquisition. performance by Engineer of services excluded by this.paragraph, if required by City, shall be under separate oral or written agreement. 3. In consideration of t~e services set forth in paragraph 1, City shall pay to Engineer the following fee and costs: Six Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00) for the assessment proceedings required of the Engineer, payable upon receipt of the proceeds of assessments collected and/or bonds sold. Printing and other services ordered by City shall be paid by City ona time and materials basis in accordance with the rate schedule attached hereto as Exhibit A. The printing costs shall be inclu- ded in the incidental costs of the district. The above amount shall Re paid by City Out of the proceeds of assess- ments levied and bonds to be issued in said proceedings. In no event, however, -2-
