Section 2: The County Board of Supervisors is urged, if a <br /> sufficient number of approvals are received from <br /> other cities in the county, to place this proposed <br /> local motor vehicle fuel tax imposition on the <br /> November 1982 statewide general election ballot. <br /> <br />Section 3: Resolution Noo 82-253 is hereby rescinded. <br /> <br />Section z~: The City Clerk shall send two certified copies <br /> of this resolution to the County Director of Public <br /> Works at the earliest practicable date or no later <br /> than August 4, 1982. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 27, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Butler <br /> <br />NOES None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Pe~ter D.
