CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA PZSOLUTION NO. 82-404 RESOLUTION IMPLEMENTING RECOMMENDATIONS OF GENERAL PLAN REVIEW STEERING COMMITTEE W~LEREAS, at its meeting of October 12, 1982, the City Council reviewed the report of the General Plan Review Steering Committee; and WHEREAS, at the same time Council reviewed staff recommendations concerning implementation of the recommendations of the Steering Committee; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: A General Plan Review Committee shall be formed consisting of all those citizens living or owning property in the planning area as shown by the Pleasanton General Plan, who apply to serve on said Committee during an application period to be set by the City Manager. The application period shall be advertised and contain at least thirty (30) days. Section 2: A consultant or contract employee shall be hired to work with the General Plan Review Committee. The contract employee shall report directly to the City Manager, but work exclusively for the General Plan Review Committee. Duties of the contract employee shall include those in the job description included in the staff report dated October 4, 1982 and incorporated herein by reference. Selection of the contract employee shall be by a three member board consisting of the Mayor, Chairman of the Steering Committee, and Director of Planning and Community Development. Section 3:The budget for the General Plan Review shall be $71,000 as follows: Contract Employee $50,000 Office Space 2,400 City Staff 10,600 Other Related Costs 8,000 Total $71,000 The Operating Budget for fiscal year 1982-83 of the City of Pleasanton shall be amended to provide for the advancement of $71,000 to the General Plan Review Committee.
