In fact, this will be
a good thing if Pleasanton residents can raise
their standard of living and have the opportunity
to work in town rather than commuting.

Section 3: The City of Pleasanton can never reach its goal
of being a "balanced community" unless the commercial
development planned for North Pleasanton does in
fact occur.

Section 4: The business parks approved for North Pleasanton
are of high quality, will be aesthetically pleasing,
and will be carefully controlled by the City.

Section 5: The actions of this City Council and the Planning
Commission have upheld the letter and the intent
of Pleasanton's General Plan.

Section 6: This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.

THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 13, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING
VOTE:

AYES: Councilmembers
Mayor Butler
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and

ATTEST:

By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk

MAYOR

APPROVED AS TO FORM:
