(2) Approximately 22.2 acres just north of the eastern terminus of Crellin Road. (3) Approximately 10.5 acres just south of the eastern terminus of Crellin Road. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held public hearings on all of these proposed changes and has made recommendations concerning same; and ~EREAS, a public hearing was held on December 6, 1983, at which time the City Council reviewed the proposed General Plan amendments covering various areas throughout the planning area and considered all reports, documents, testimony, and recommendations; and ~EREAS, Negative Declarations were adopted for each of the proposed changes; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make comprehensive changes to the Land Use/Circulation Elements of the General Plan at this time as one of the three times during the calendar year such changes may be made; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council takes the following action with respect to the requested changes in land use designation: a. Approves the following changes: (1) Change approximately six acres located at the southeast corner of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas Boulevard from "High Density Residential" to "Commercial and Offices" (GP-83-13), subject to conditions listed on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Roll Call Vote: AYES: Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler NOES: None (2) Change approximately nine acres located at the northeast corner of Tawny Drive and Bernal Avenue (formerly Pico/Vineyard Avenue) from "Medium Density Residential" to "High Density Residential" on the approximate westerly half of the site and "ODen SDace (Parks and Recreation)" on the approximate easterly half of the site (GP-83-11). -2-
