(2) Approximately 22.2 acres just north of <br /> the eastern terminus of Crellin Road. <br /> <br />(3) Approximately 10.5 acres just south of <br /> the eastern terminus of Crellin Road. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has held public hearings <br />on all of these proposed changes and has made <br />recommendations concerning same; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on December 6, 1983, at <br />which time the City Council reviewed the proposed <br />General Plan amendments covering various areas <br />throughout the planning area and considered all <br />reports, documents, testimony, and recommendations; <br />and <br /> <br />~EREAS, Negative Declarations were adopted for each of the <br /> proposed changes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council desires to make comprehensive <br />changes to the Land Use/Circulation Elements of <br />the General Plan at this time as one of the three <br />times during the calendar year such changes may be <br />made; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council takes the following action with <br />respect to the requested changes in land use <br />designation: <br /> <br />a. Approves the following changes: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Change approximately six acres located <br />at the southeast corner of Santa Rita <br />Road and West Las Positas Boulevard from <br />"High Density Residential" to "Commercial <br />and Offices" (GP-83-13), subject to <br />conditions listed on Exhibit "A", attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />AYES: Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Change approximately nine acres located <br />at the northeast corner of Tawny Drive <br />and Bernal Avenue (formerly Pico/Vineyard <br />Avenue) from "Medium Density Residential" <br />to "High Density Residential" on the <br />approximate westerly half of the site <br />and "ODen SDace (Parks and Recreation)" <br />on the approximate easterly half of the <br />site (GP-83-11). <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
