CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 83-539 A RESOLUTION GRANTING DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL OF CASE Z-83-232, APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA ~HEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied for design review approval for a 110,000 sq.ft., two-story office building and an approximately 3,640 sq. ft. auto service center and related facilities on an approximately 10.6 acre site located at the northwest corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Stoneridge Drive; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-P (Industrial Park) District; and WHEREAS , the project site is within the boundaries of the Hacienda Business Park, a 573 acre project for which an EIR has been completed; said EIR consists of a final EIR and final Supplement to the EIR prepared in conjunction with an EIR on an amendment to the Growth ~{anagement Element of the General Plan (the Hacienda Business Park Project EIR); and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of December 6, 1983, the City Council considered all public testimony, pertinent documents and recommendations made by the City staff; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council has read and considered the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared for the overa.ll Hacienda Business Park Project. The Hacienda Business Park Project EIR included environmental analysis on this site's development in essentially the manner proposed in this application. Section 2: Based upon the Initial Study, the City Council finds that the cumulative environmental effects of this project are similar in nature to those discussed in the Hacienda Business Park Project EIR and that the Hacienda Business Park Project EIR adequately covers the environmental impacts of this project.
