be2 <br /> <br />Fact. Condition No. 68 requires that all <br />requirements of the California Department of <br />Fish and Game be met, including revegetatlon. <br /> <br />XII. <br /> <br />XI. ArchaeoloqV. <br /> <br />Significant Effect. Potential disturbance of known <br />archaeological sites and/or disturbance of unknown <br />sites in areas of high archaeological sensitivity. <br /> <br />Finding. The mitigation measures identified <br />the EIR and incorporated in the Project will <br />cause the effect to be avoided. <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />Fact. Conditions Nos. 100 and 101 require the <br />Developer to do the following: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Evaluation of the extent and location of <br />two archaeological sites by qualified <br />archaeologists. <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Availability of a qualified archaeologist <br />available on site during construction <br />activities. <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />Construction activity shall be halted in <br />the event that human remains and artifacts <br />are encountered until an evaluation and <br />removal to alternative sites can be <br />completed or some other method of pro- <br />tecting these materials can be accom- <br />plished. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />A layer of fill material shall be applied <br />to historical sites, where necessary, to <br />prevent disruption of the layer of <br />archaeological deposit. <br /> <br />Alternatives. The individual Alternatives to the Amend- <br />ment and the Project identified in the Draft EIR have been <br />analyzed herein. The Alternatives to the Amendment are <br />the No Project Alternative to the Amendment, the Tri- <br />Valley Employment Center Alternative, the Increased Resi- <br />dential Capacity Alternative, the Residential Community <br />Alternative and the Reduced Intensity of Development <br />Alternative. The Alternatives to the Project are the No <br />Approval of Project Alternative, Partial Approval Alter- <br />native and Mixed Used Alternative. The Monitoring of <br />Development Alternative is an alternative to both the <br /> <br /> <br />
