Holidays. Holidays shall be as set forth in Section 1109 of the Personnel <br />Rules except that; the state-wide election day is deleted as a holiday, <br />Veterans' Day shall be observed on the eleventh day of the eleventh month. <br />Effective March 1, 1982, Admission Day and the two (2) hours between 1:00 <br />P.M., and 3:00 P.M., on Good Friday shall be eliminated as holidays. In <br />exchange for the elimination of these two days as holidays the annual <br />vacation entitlement of confidential employees shall be increased by <br />twelve (12) hours. And, two floating holidays are added to the holiday <br />schedule. The two floating holidays shall be credited to each employee <br />on July 1 of each year and be observed on a date mutually agreed to by <br />the employee and the department head. <br /> <br />Retirement System. All confidential employees shall be members of the <br />State Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). <br /> <br /> <br />
