- OCT 0 ~ 1983 <br /> <br /> LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS LEASE AGREEMENT, made this day of <br /> <br />1983, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California (hereinafter referred <br />to as "Lessor"), and the CHILDREN'S THEATRE 1~RKSHOP (herein- <br />after referred to as "Lessee"). <br /> <br /> RECITALS: <br /> <br />A. Lessee is a nonprofit organization organized to <br />provide opportunities for Darticipation in theater Droductions. <br /> <br /> B. Due to the relocation of the Police Department <br />facilities, Lessor does not presently need the use of the <br />premises commonly known as the Police Training Building, 519 <br />Kottinger Drive, Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> In consideration of the mutual covenants contained <br /> <br />herein, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Subject of Lease. Lessor leases to Lessee and <br /> <br />Lessee leases from Lessor the building commonly known as the <br />Police Training Building, 519 Kottinger Drive, for the <br />purposes contained herein. <br /> <br /> 2. Term. This lease shall begin at a date to be designated <br />by the City based upon the time the Police Department moves <br />from the Old City ttall Building and related facilities to its <br />new headquarters, anticipated to occur in November 1983. This <br />lease shall terminate on December 1, 1988, exceDt as otherwise <br />provided in this Agreement~ <br /> <br /> 3. Rental.
