LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />TENNIS FACILITIES - YOUNG CALIFORNIA BUILDING <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS <br /> <br />DRAFT #2 <br /> <br />THIS LEASE, made and entered into this day of <br /> <br />by and between the ALAMEDA COUNTY AGRICULTURAL <br /> <br />FAIR ASSOCIATION, a California non-profit corporation, hereinafter <br /> <br />referred to as "Lessor", and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a general law <br /> <br />city of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as "Lessee." <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> <br /> In consideration of the promises, agreements and rents <br />herein set forth, the parties mutually agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Lessor lets to Lessee and Lessee rents from Lessor the <br />following described premises situated on the Alameda County Fair- <br />grounds, City of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California: <br /> <br />That certain building commonly known and <br />designated as the Young California Building, <br />together with the parking areas as shown in <br />red on the plot plan attached (Attachment A) <br />hereto and made a part of this Agreetment. <br /> <br /> 2. The term of this Lease shall be for two 4-1/2 month <br />periods, the first commencing on or about the first of November but <br />no later than November 12, 1982 and ending on March 31, 1984, and <br />the second commencing on or about the first of November 1984 but no <br />later than November 10, 1984 and ending on ~arch 31, 1985. <br /> <br /> If Lessor has not reserved the Young California Building <br />for the first 12 days of November 1983, or the first 10 days of <br />November 1984, and for the months of April 1984 and 1985 Lessor shall <br />notify Lessee accordingly and grant an extension for the 12 days (1983) <br />or 10 days (1984) periods of November 1983 and 1984, and thirty- <br />day extension to the Lease for such periods on the same terms and <br />conditions of this Lease. <br /> <br /> 3. The agreed rental for each full month period of this <br />Lease shall be the monthly sum of ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND <br />NO/100THS DOLLARS ($1,800.00), except as follows: <br /> <br />The rental fee for November will be prorated from <br />the time the City takes possession based on the <br />monthly rental fee of $1,800.00 per month. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
