CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. B3-347 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING $20,000 FOR REPAIRS IN <br />KOTTINGER PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this past winter there was considerable damage to <br />Kottinger Park as outlined in more detail in the <br />report of the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br />dated August 4, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in order to prevent further damage and to protect <br />the safety of the park users it is necessary that <br />certain repair work be done before the beginning <br />of the next rainy season; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Directs the staff to prepare plans and specifica- <br />tions for the work outlined in staff report SR 83:313 <br />for approval by the Council at the earliest possible <br />time. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />2: The Capital Improvement Budget for fiscal year <br /> 1983-84 is amended by appropriating $20,000 from the <br /> Capital Improvement Fund to repair the immediate <br /> needs of Kottinger Park to Drevent further damage <br /> and to protect the safety of the park users. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 9, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Mercer <br /> ABSTAIN: None ~~ <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ROBERT E.
