CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-346 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br />PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY FOR DESIGN APPROVAL <br />FOR TWO INDUSTRIAL PARK BUILDINGS (CASE Z-83-110) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Prudential Insurance Company has applied for design <br />review approval of two industrial park buildings, <br />totalling approximately llO,000 sq. ft. and related <br />facilities on an approximately 6.6 acre site located <br />on the south side of West Las Positas Boulevard <br />southeast of its intersection with Hacienda Drive <br />in the Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the proDerty is I-P (Industrial Park) <br /> District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the duly noticed public hearing of August 9, <br />1983, the City Council considered all public <br />testimony, pertinent documents and recommendations <br />made by the City staff; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council has read and considered the <br /> Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared for <br /> overall Hacienda Business Park Project. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Section 2: Based upon the Initial Study, the City Council <br /> finds that the cumulative environmental effects of <br /> this project are similar in nature to those discussed <br /> in the Hacienda Business Park PUD EIR and that the <br /> Hacienda Business Park PUD EIR adequately covers <br /> the environmental impacts of this project, in fact, <br /> overstate the Dotential imDacts because the full <br /> Hacienda Business Park cannot be built without a <br /> General Plan change. <br /> <br />Section 3: To the extent that there were any Dotentially <br /> significant environmental effects of this discrete <br /> project, the conditions of approval and measures <br /> undertaken since the completion of the Hacienda <br /> Business Park PUD EIR have reduced such impacts to <br /> insignificant levels. <br /> <br />Section 4: With respect to the cumulative effects of continuing <br /> building by building development, the City Council <br /> finds that prior to the development of the entire <br /> area discussed in the Hacienda Business Park PUD <br /> <br /> <br />
