CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-345 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF PRU- <br />DENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY FOR DESIGN APPROVAL <br />FOR AN APPROXIMATELY 45,709 SQ. FT. INDUSTRIAL <br />BUILDING AND RELATED FACILITIES ON AN APPROXI- <br />MATELY THREE ACRE SITE AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER <br />OF WILLOW ROAD AND STONERIDGE DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Prudential Insurance Company has aPplied for design <br />review approval of an approximately 45,709 sq. ft. <br />industrial building and related facilities on an <br />approximately three acre site located at the north- <br />east corner of Willow Road and Stoneridge Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-G (General Industrial) <br /> District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the duly noticed public hearinR of August 9, <br />1983, the City Council considered all public <br />testimony, pertinent documents and recommendations <br />made by the City staff; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1: The City Council has read and considered the <br /> Environmental Impact ReDort (EIR) prepared for the <br /> overall Hacienda Business Park Project. <br /> <br />Section 2: Based upon the Initial Study, the City Council <br /> finds that the cumulative environmental effects of <br /> this project are similar in nature to those dicusssed <br /> in the Hacienda Business Park PUD EIR and that the <br /> Hacienda Business Park PUP EIR adequately covers <br /> the environmental impacts of this Droiect, in fact, <br /> overstate the potential impacts because the full <br /> Hacienda Business Park cannot be built without a <br /> General Plan change. <br /> <br />Section 3: To the extent that there were any potentially <br /> significant environmental effects of this discrete <br /> project, the conditions of approval and measures <br /> undertaken since the completion of the Hacienda <br /> Business Park PUD EIR have reduced such imDacts to <br /> insignificant levels. <br /> <br />Section 4: With respect to the cumulative effects of continuing <br /> building by building development, the City Council <br /> finds that prior to the development of the entire <br /> area discussed in the Hacienda Business Park PUD <br /> <br /> <br />
