WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-309 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR A CHANGE TO THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />OF APPROXIMATELY 23 ACRES LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST <br />CORNER OF 1-580 AND 1-680 IN THE VICINITY 0F 7090 <br />JOHNSON DRIVE FROM "GENERAL AND LIMITED INDUSTRIAL" <br />TO "INDUSTRIAL/COmmERCIAL AND OFFICES" <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 26, 1983, the City Council <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration <br />for the application of Vorelco, Inc. and Leisure <br />Sports, Inc. to amend the General Plan land use <br />designation for approximately 23 acres located at <br />the southeast corner of 1-580 and 1-680 in the <br />vicinity of 7090 Johnson Drive from "General and <br />Limited Industrial" to "Industrial/Commercial and <br />Offices;" and <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated May 31, 1983 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated <br />negative declarations and environmental impact <br />reports; and <br /> <br />the Initial Study prepared by the City staff <br />indicated that there may be significant impacts <br />upon the environment, but that conditions of <br />approval would render these potential impacts <br />insignificant; and <br /> <br />the City Council finds that based upon the review <br />of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- <br />mentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there may be significant impacts on the <br />environment, but that conditions listed in Section <br />1 below as mitigations render these potential <br />imDacts insignificant; <br /> <br /> <br />
