7/18/83 - 26630 <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT FOR CENTREX CO SERVICE <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, effective September~1983, is <br />between CITY OF PLEASANTON ("Customer") and THE PACIFIC <br />TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY ("Utility"). The parties, <br />intending to be legally bound, agree to the following terms and <br />conditions: <br /> <br />Customer elects to subscribe to, and'Utility agrees to <br />provide, Centrex CO service at 200 Old Bernal Avenue, <br />Pleasanton, California, and all other Customer locations as <br />set forth in Section 11, "Equipment Requirements - Site <br />Locations" of-the City of Pleasanton's Request for Proposal <br />dated December 15, 1982. <br /> <br />The service items listed in Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br />made a part hereof, which reflect Centrex CO Service on the <br /> <br />first billing in September, 1983, will be provided at the <br />stated ra~for a period of ten (10) years commeDcing on <br />September~ 1983 and terminating on Augu3~ 31~ ~ <br />(Payment Period). Except as set forth in this Agreement, <br />the service items listed in Exhibit A are provided under <br />the conditions set forth in Utility's applicable tariffs on <br />file with the Public Utilities Commission of the State of <br />California. Service items listed in Exhibit B, attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, which reflect Centrex CO <br />billing commencing on September 1, 1983, and terminating on <br />August 31, 1993, are at prevailing tariff rates, charges, <br />and conditions and are not includable in the Payment Period <br />for equipment set forth in Exhibit A. The Communications <br />Proposal for Customer, attached hereto, is ~ereby made a <br />part hereof. Exhibits A and B supersede the payment method <br />in Section IV and the equipment specifications in Section <br />X.C set forth in said Communications Proposal. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
