of the Director of Planning and Community Development <br />and attachments thereto, as well as the information <br />contained in the Initial Study leading to the <br />Negative Declarations for said projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed land use <br />changes conform to and are consistent with the goals <br />and policies contained in the various elements of the <br />General Plan, taken as a whole; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the application of <br /> Amador Valley Investors to change the General Plan <br /> land use designation of approximately 23 acres of <br /> land located adjacent and to the north of the <br /> Arroyo Mocho Canal approximately 1500 feet east of <br /> the existing terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard <br /> from the General and Limited Industrial designation <br /> to the Medium Density Residential designation <br /> (GP-82-12), the aforementioned area more particularly <br /> shown in the attached Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council approves the application of the <br /> City of Pleasanton to amend the General Plan designation <br /> of the approximately 200 foot wide strip located on the <br /> west side of Vineyard/Pico Avenue between Vineyard/Pico/ <br /> Tawny intersection and the Arroyo del Valle from "Open <br /> Space-Parks and Recreation" to "Medium Density <br /> Residential" and to change the designation of the <br /> approximately 3/4 acre parcel located immediately <br /> west of the Vineyard Villa Mobile Home Park from <br /> "Open Space-Parks and Recreation" to "High Density <br /> Residential" (GP-82-10), the aforementioned area more <br /> particularly shown in the attached Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Council determines that this is one of the <br /> three times in 1983 that the General Plan has been <br /> amended as authorized by Government Code §65631. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 12, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />~ D R APPROVED AS TO <br /> Peter D.
