WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-131 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENTS <br />GP-82-12 AND GP-82-10 CHANGING THE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATIONS FOR TWO SITES IN THE PLANNING AREA <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 12, 1983, the City Council <br />received applications for General Plan amendments <br />regarding the following properties: <br /> <br />Application of Amador Valley Investors to <br />change the General Plan land use designation of <br />approximately 23 acres of land located adjacent <br />and to the north of the Arroyo Mocho Canal <br />approximately 1500 feet east of the existing <br />terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard from <br />the General and Limited Industrial designation <br />to the Medium Density Residential Designation <br />(GP-82-12); and <br /> <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to <br />amend the General Plan designation of the <br />approximately 200 foot wide strip located on <br />the west side of Vineyard/Pico Avenue between <br />Vineyard/Pico/Tawny intersection and the <br />Arroyo del Valle from "Open Space-Parks and <br />Recreation" to "Medium Density Residential" <br />and to change the designation of the approxi- <br />mately 3/4 acre parcel located immediately <br />west of the Vineyard Villa Mobile Home Park <br />from "Open Space-Parks and Recreation" to <br />"High Density Residential" (GP-82-10); and <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has held public hearings <br />on these proposed changes and has made recommendations <br />for approval concerning same; and <br /> <br />the City Council determined that Negative Declarations <br />regarding GP-82-12 and GP-82-10 were appropriate for <br />the proposed General Plan amendments and adopted <br />Resolutions 83-129 and 83-130 approving the Negative <br />Declarations; and <br /> <br />the City Council held public hearings with respect <br />to the General Plan amendments at which time any <br />member of the public was offered the opportunity to <br />address the City Council on said amendments; and <br /> <br />after the close of the public hearing, the City <br />Council deliberated upon the proposed amendments, <br />considering the information set forth in the reports <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
