RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the following exceptions in said Underground Utility District No. 83-1 be and are hereby authorized, pursuant to Section 5-9.50 of Article 2, Chapter 10, of Title V of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton: 1. Poles, or electroliers used exclusively for street l~ghting. Overhead wires (exclusive of supporting structures) crossing any port]on of the District within which overhead wires have been prohibited, or connecting to buildings on the perimeter of the District~ when such wires originate in an area from which poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures are not prohibited. Overhead wires attached to the exterior surface of a building by means of a bracket or other fixture and extending from one location on the building to another location on the same building or to an adjacent building without crossing any public street. Equipment appurtenant to underground facilities, such as surface mounted transformers, pedestal mounted terminal boxes and meter cabinets, and concealed ducts. Temporary poles, overhead w~res and associated over- head structures shall be removed and underground installations made in said Underqround Utility Distr~ct No. 83-1 within the following times: Affected property owners must be ready to receive underground service not later than August 1, 1983. b. Removal of poles, overhead w~res, and other associated structures no later than December 1, 1983. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Clerk, within ten (10) days after the adoption of this resolution, shall mail a copy hereof and a copy of Chapter 10 (Underground Utilities), of Title V of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton to affected property owners as such are shown on the last equalized assessment roll and to the affected utilities. -2-
