Requirements for Qualification <br /> <br />Groups receiving this designation must conduct <br />program(s) which are of an indirect recreation <br />purpose or be of some other highly significant <br />community value. <br /> <br />Must make a detailed written o~ form application to <br />the Director of Recreation and Human Resources and/or <br />the Park and Recreation Commission sixty (60) days <br />in advance of such programs. <br /> <br />75% of the membership of the group must be <br />residents of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Approved groups requesting use of the City facilities <br />at reduced or no cost may be requested by the Director <br />of Recreation and Human Resources to provide a budget <br />for the proposed activity. <br /> <br />The insurance requirements referred to in I. F. <br />shall be complied with. <br /> <br />B. Examples and Descriptions of Approved Groups - <br /> <br />Fraternal, Social Service, Service organization using <br />City recreation and park facilities to conduct special <br />community recreation, education or social service programs <br />considered of benefit to the community (Example - <br />Art Show, Rotary Corn Roast, Health Faire). <br /> <br />C. Departmental Responsibilities <br /> <br />1. Provide use of facility at no cost or reduced rate. <br /> <br />*2. Use of certain equipment and materials. <br /> <br />*3. Staff services on a limited basiS. <br /> <br />*Charges for any such services at the discretion <br />of the City Council, after review and recom- <br />mendation of the Park and Recreation Coranission. <br /> <br /> <br />
