"Committed Flow. The con~itted flow for each agency <br /> shall be defined as the metered a.d.w,f. plus the permissible <br /> flow derived from sold but unoccupied connections. Sold <br /> connection is one in which an agency has either sold or <br /> made a legal commitment to a future sale." <br /> "Permissible Flow. The calculated flow based on the <br /> number of residential connections or equivalents thereof. <br /> The flow for single-family detached residences or for <br /> single-family nondetached residences such as townhouses <br /> if constructed prior to 1979 shall be taken as 280 gallons <br /> per day (a.d.~.f.). For single-family residences built <br /> under permits issued after January 1~ 1979, the flow <br /> shall be taken as 220 gallons per day (a.d.w.f.). The <br /> flow for apartments constructed prior to 1979 shall be <br /> taken as 175 gallons per day (a.d.w.f.) and for apartments <br /> constructed after January 1, 1979~ shall be taken as 145 <br /> gallons per day (a.d.w.f.)." <br /> <br /> Section 2. Because of the additional biological demand on <br />the plan and capital costs for removal facilities, the sewer <br />connection fee should not be reduced as a result of t~e adjustment <br />to residential flow designations. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is understood and agreed by the parties that <br />the significance of defining dwelling unit equivalents in gallons <br />per day shall be to calculate the effect of issued sewer permits <br />(for dwelling units not yet built) on each aEency's remaining <br />capacity at the DSRSD treatment plant.
