DES:mf 1/11/83 <br /> <br /> FIRST AMENDSlENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL <br /> (CITY OF PLEASANTON AND DUBLIN SAN RAMON SERVICES DISTRICT) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT', made and entered into this {,2 day of <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and the <br /> <br />DUBLIN SAN RAMON SERVICES DISTRICT, <br />of California <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />30, 1978 (the <br /> <br /> a public agency of the State <br /> <br /> ("District"); <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br />City and District entered into an agreement dated May <br />"1978 Agreement") pursuant to which District treats and <br /> <br />provides for the disposal of wastewater emanating from City's sanitary <br />sewerage service area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 1978 Agreement, among other matters, provides that <br />the parties thereto shall comply with all requirements of the <br />California Clean Water Grant Program, or any revision thereof relating <br />to the construction of Grant-eligible sewerage and interceptor <br />facilities, including the fair and equitable concept of administering <br />joint sewerage facilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the California Clean Water Grant Program, in Tonjunction <br />with the United States Environmental Protection Agency Wastewater <br />Treatment Works Construction Grants Program, requires that, <br />the qrantees thereunder develop an industrial wastewater pretreatment <br />program (the "Pretreatment Program") for grant-funded projects which <br /> <br /> <br />
