Vacation. <br /> <br />1. One (1) through four (4) years of continuous service - ten (10) vacation <br /> days. <br />2. Five (5) through ten (10) years of continuous service - fifteen (15) <br /> vacation days. <br />3. Eleven (11) through eighteen (18) years of continuous service - twenty <br /> (20) vacation days. <br />4. Nineteen (19) years of continuous service and more - twenty-five (25) <br /> vacation days. <br />5. Payment of up to five (5) days accumulated vacation, said payment to <br /> be made at the end of the calendar year provided the employee's current <br /> year's vacation entitlement has been used and provided that the total <br /> amount of accumulated vacation is in excess of twenty (20) days. <br /> <br />Payroll deduction for employees wishing to join and participate in City and <br />County Credit Union. <br /> <br />Holidays. Holidays shall be as set forth in Section 1109 of the Personnel <br />Rules except that; the state-wide election day is deleted and a floating <br />holiday substituted, and Veterans' Day shall be observed on the eleventh <br />day of the eleventh month. Effective March 1, 1982, Admission Day and the <br />two (2) hours between 1:00 P.M., and 3:00 P.M., on Good Friday shall be <br />eliminated as holidays. In exchange for the elimination of these two days <br />as holidays the annual vacation entitlement of management personnel shall <br />be increased by twelve (12) hours. <br /> <br />Uniform Allowance. A uniform allowance of $225 per year will be paid for <br />those fire department management employees required to wear a uniform. <br /> <br />Vehicle Usage/Allowance. <br /> <br />Unrestricted use by the Chief of Police of a vehicle furnished by the <br />City, provided the Chief of Police licenses said vehicle and pays for <br />any gasoline related to the personal use thereof. <br /> <br />An automobile allowance is optionally available for all management <br />employees except the Chief of Police, Fire Chief, Police Research <br />and Training Assistant, and Accounting Supervisor, under criteria <br />established by the City Manager. During the term of this document <br />the following positions shall receive an automobile allowance: <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities, Assistant to the City <br />Manager, Chief Building Inspector, Director of Planning and Com- <br />munity Development, Director of Recreation and Human Resources, <br />Director of Finance, and Assistant City Engineer. The monthly <br />automobile allowance shall be $150 per month and payment of 21¢ <br />per mile for all miles traveled on City business outside the <br />Livermore/~ador Valley. For said automobile allowance and mile- <br />age reimbursement employees shall use their personal vehicles for <br />City business. <br /> <br />Retirement System. All management employees shall be members of the State <br />Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). <br /> <br /> <br />
