traffic signals generally in accordance with the conceptual <br />drawing as shown in Exhibit "A" (the "Project"). In furtherance <br />thereof, Dublin agrees to do the following: <br /> <br /> a. Conduct an appropriate environmental assessment <br /> and provide such documents as may be necessary <br /> in conformance with the California Environ- <br /> mental Quality Act. <br /> b. Cooperate with and assist Pleasanton in <br /> processing the Project appiication through <br /> the Caltrans review and approval process. <br /> c. Review and approve Project plans and specifications. <br /> d. Inspect the construction of Project as required, <br /> -..~ unless this function is delegated to Pleasanton. <br /> e. Authorize Pleasanton to enter into an agreement <br /> <br /> with Caltrans concerning distribution of <br /> maintenance and operation costs, or, if the <br /> · former is infeasible,.enter into such an <br /> agreemen~ with Caltrans directly, including, <br /> if possible, direct billing of Pleasanton for <br /> such costs. " <br /> <br /> 2... Responsibilities of Pleasanton.
