City Of Pleaspnton <br /> <br />Residential Review Committee <br /> <br />BYLAWS <br /> <br />1) ORGANIZATION: The Pleasanton ResidentialReview Committee (Committee) was <br />created by the Pleasanton City Council to review end make recommendations <br />regarding the amount, type, location and ra~e of future residential <br />development within the Pleasanton planning Rrea. Membership on the Committee is <br />by application to the City Council. A Residential Steering Committee <br />(Steering Committee) selected by the City Council shall be the governing body <br />of the Committee. The chair of the Steering Committee shall be the Committee <br />chair. The work of the Committee shell be conducted at meetings led by the <br />Steering Committee. <br /> <br />2) RESIDENTIAL STEERING COMMITTEE: The Steering Committee shall have the <br />following duties= <br /> <br /> a. Conduct bimonthly meetings at which the Steering CQmmittee shall review <br />and comment on information developed by the General Plan consultant on various <br />aspects of future residential development in Pleesanton; <br /> <br /> b. Advise the General Plan consultant pn key decisions which will lead to <br />formulation of a residential land use plan for the Plea~enton Planning Area; <br /> <br /> c. Recommend whether vacant parcels within the Planning Area should be <br />designated for residential use and at what density. All vacant parcels within <br />the Planning Area, regardless of current General Plan designation, shall be <br />included in the Committee's review except those parcels which have City Council <br />approved PUD plans, tentative or final maps, development agreements and/or <br />Growth Management Approval and those properties recommended for Industrial, <br />Commercial or Office use by the Industrial General Plan Review Committee; <br /> <br /> d. Adopt a report to be submitted tO the City Council which aummarizes the <br />Committee's recommendations regarding the amount, type, location and rate of <br />future residential development within the Planning Area and mechanisms for <br />implementing those recommendationa. <br /> <br />3) DUFIES OF THE CHAIR= The Chair will have the following duties= <br /> <br />a. To chair meetings of the Committee and StaerinQ Committee; <br /> <br /> b. To appoint a Parliamentarian from among the members of the Steering <br />Committee; <br /> <br /> c. To revise the agenda, as needed, for the Committee and Steering <br />Committee; <br /> <br /> d. To represent the Committee at meetings with City Council or any other <br />City body; <br /> <br />e. To delegate these duties as the che;r may determine. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
