C. Fire Department Liaison - Consultant will act as <br />liaison between the assigned Fire Department liaison personnel and the <br />Contractor, working "hand in glove" with the Department to see that <br />the work is coordinated and progressing properly in reference to its <br />needs and requirements. Change order proposals will be reviewed and <br />approved by the Fire Department liaison prior to putting them into the <br />system. <br /> <br /> D. Coordination - Consultant will handle coordination <br />between the trades and consulting professionals such as Soils <br />Engineers, Testing and Inspection Services, etc. In general, it is <br />anticipated that the Contractor will call for those services through <br />Consultant. <br /> <br /> E. Street Improvements Coordination - Consultant will <br />review Contractor coordination of Fire Station No. 2 work and the <br />street improvement work being done under another contract, the purpose <br />being to anticipate and bring to focus any problems that might <br />develop. <br /> <br /> F. Extra Work - Consultant shall perform such extra <br />work as requested and approved by the Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities related to the Pleasanton Fire Station No. 2 project and <br />outside the scope of work included in Section 1A-tE. <br /> <br /> 2. Staff. Project Manager for Consultant shall be Hugh <br />Anton. Consultant shall not replace Hugh Anton without prior approval <br />of the City. <br /> <br /> 3. Term. The term of this Agreement shall extend for the <br />duration of the Fire Station No. 2 projects and shall terminate upon <br />completion and acceptance of the work included in both contracts <br />comprising the Fire Station No. 2 projects. <br /> <br /> 4. Compensation. For services to be rendered, City shall <br />pay Consultantin accordance with the following: <br /> <br /> A. For work as outlined in Consultant's Services <br />1A-1E above, the fee shall be on a time and materials basis not to <br />exceed $26,000 at the hourly rates described as follows: <br /> <br />Appearance at Public Meetings $125.00 <br />(minimum charge) <br /> <br />Principal Architect in <br />Consultation <br /> <br />75.00 <br /> <br />Principal Architect 65.00 <br /> <br />Architect 50.00 <br /> <br />Assistant Architect <br /> <br />45.00 <br /> <br />Clerical 21.00 <br /> <br /> <br />
