C. Fire Department Liaison - Consultant will act as liaison between the assigned Fire Department liaison personnel and the Contractor, working "hand in glove" with the Department to see that the work is coordinated and progressing properly in reference to its needs and requirements. Change order proposals will be reviewed and approved by the Fire Department liaison prior to putting them into the system. D. Coordination - Consultant will handle coordination between the trades and consulting professionals such as Soils Engineers, Testing and Inspection Services, etc. In general, it is anticipated that the Contractor will call for those services through Consultant. E. Street Improvements Coordination - Consultant will review Contractor coordination of Fire Station No. 2 work and the street improvement work being done under another contract, the purpose being to anticipate and bring to focus any problems that might develop. F. Extra Work - Consultant shall perform such extra work as requested and approved by the Director of Public Works and Utilities related to the Pleasanton Fire Station No. 2 project and outside the scope of work included in Section 1A-tE. 2. Staff. Project Manager for Consultant shall be Hugh Anton. Consultant shall not replace Hugh Anton without prior approval of the City. 3. Term. The term of this Agreement shall extend for the duration of the Fire Station No. 2 projects and shall terminate upon completion and acceptance of the work included in both contracts comprising the Fire Station No. 2 projects. 4. Compensation. For services to be rendered, City shall pay Consultantin accordance with the following: A. For work as outlined in Consultant's Services 1A-1E above, the fee shall be on a time and materials basis not to exceed $26,000 at the hourly rates described as follows: Appearance at Public Meetings $125.00 (minimum charge) Principal Architect in Consultation 75.00 Principal Architect 65.00 Architect 50.00 Assistant Architect 45.00 Clerical 21.00
