ATTACHMENT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />TASK 1: INITIAL ItEETINGS <br /> <br />The Consultant will meet with Pleasanton City Council Members to <br />review the process that was followed in the Pleasanton/Dublin Transit <br />Study, the alternatives considered, and the evaluation that led to <br />the recon~ended plan. The meetings will also explore issues, concerns <br />and goals of the Council Members for input into the review and <br />reevaluation of transit routes in the Pleasanton route review. <br /> <br />It is assumed that these meetings will be organized and scheduled by <br />City staff. Up to three meetings have been allowed for in the study <br />budget. <br /> <br />TASK 2: UPDATE EMPLOYMENT/POPULATION DATA BASE <br /> <br />The Consultant will obtain from the General Plan Consultant, City <br />staff and Hacienda Owners' Association updated information on <br />Pleasanton employment levels and locations, residence locations and <br />travel patterns, as available. <br /> <br />Employment information will include existing number of employees by <br />parcel, projected employment in projects under construction, <br />approved, or projected to be occupied within 3 years. Employment <br />information will be provided along with a recent aerial photo with <br />employment locations plotted or keyed to tabulated information. <br /> <br />Population data for 1984 and for residential projects under <br />construction, approved, or projected to be occupied within 5 years <br />will be obtained by Traffic Analysis Zone {TAZ) as utilized in the <br />TJKM traffic studies of Pleasanton, <br /> <br />Available survey data on commute travel patterns will be obtained. <br />This is anticipated to include transportation survey responses from <br />the surveys recently conducted within the City of Pleasanton. <br />Survey responses from employees living within the Tri-Valley area <br />will be coded and processed on DKS computers to establish significant <br />co~luter origin-destination patterns relative to transit service <br />provision. Analysis of up to 1,500 survey responses has been <br />provided for in the study budget. <br /> <br /> <br />
