any interest or obligation therein without the prior written <br /> consent of the City, and then only upon such terms and conditions <br /> as City may set forth in writing. <br /> <br /> 8. ~pdependent Contractor <br /> <br /> Consultant shall have the status of an independent <br /> <br />contractor, and Consultant shall not be considered to be an <br />employee of the City for any purpose, in the performance of the <br />obligations set forth in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> 9. Ownership of Work <br /> <br /> All reports, drawings, plans, studies, memoranda, <br /> <br />computation sheets and other documents assembled or prepared by <br />or for, or furnished to, City under this agreement shall be the <br />property of City, and shall not be destroyed without the prior <br />written consent of City. <br /> <br /> 10. Transmittal <br /> <br /> Consultant shall include a letter of transmittal with <br /> <br />any reports, documents or other materials to be submitted to City <br />pursuant to this Agreement. Such letters shall be addressed to: <br /> <br />City of Pleasanton <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />P. O.
