Request of Alameda County Flood Control, et al. to <br />amend an approximately 3.3 acre site located at the <br />northeast corner of the intersection of Parkside <br />Drive and Hopyard Road from "Open Space" (Parks and <br />Recreation) to "Community Facilities" (Public and <br />Institutional) (GP-84-8); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has held public hearings on all <br />of these proposed changes and has made recommendations <br />concerning same; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on October 16, 1984, at which <br />time the City Council reviewed the proposed General Plan <br />amendments covering various areas throughout the <br />planning area and considered all reports, documents, <br />testimony, and recommendations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS Negative Declarations were adopted for the proposed <br /> changes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council desires to make comprehensive changes <br />to the Land Use and Circulation Elements of the General <br />Plan at this time as one of the four times during the <br />calendar year such changes may be made; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the following changes to <br /> the Land Use/Circulation Element of the General Plan: <br /> <br />Request of Cynthia Ostle to change approximately <br />10,000 sq. ft. at 1734 Santa Rita Road from "Medium <br />Density Residential" to "Commercial and Offices;" <br />(GP-84-3); <br /> <br />Request of City of Pleasanton to change <br />approximately 17 acres at 5335 Sunol Boulevard and <br />the 20.5 acre City-owned parcel west of the <br />corporation yard from "Public and Institutional" <br />and "General and Limited Industrial" to "Public and <br />Institutional", "Parks and Recreation", and "High <br />Density Residential" (GP-84-6), subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />That the approximately 37 acre City owned <br />subject site shall have its general plan <br />designation changed as follows: <br /> <br />The 10 acre senior housing site shall <br />remain "High Density Residential" as <br />presently designated. <br /> <br />The remaining approximately 27-1/2 acres <br />shall have its general plan designation <br />changed from"General and Limited <br /> <br /> <br />
