CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-442 <br /> <br />DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF A DECISION OF <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING CASE Z-84-185, <br />APPLICATION OF PATRICK JOY AND JERRY LOVING FOR DESIGN <br />REVIEW APPROVAL FOR A 14-UNIT RESIDENTIAL CONDOMINIUM <br />COMPLEX ON APPROXIMATELY .5 ACRES AT THE SOUTHWEST <br />CORNER OF PETERS AVENUE AND ROSE AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Patrick Joy and Jerry Loving applied for design review <br />approval for a 14-unit residential condominium complex <br />on an approximately .5 acre site located at the south- <br />west corner of the intersection of Peters Avenue and <br />Rose Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 8, 1984, the Design Review <br /> Board approved the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this decision was appealed by the City Council in order <br />to review the plans due to a concern over the density; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held before he City Council on <br />August 28, 1984 at which time all testimony and docu- <br />ments were reviewed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council denies the appeal of case Z-84-185 <br /> and therefore upholds the decision of the Design Review <br /> Board approving this application subject to the condi- <br /> tions listed on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorpo- <br /> rated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 28, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />- Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> - Brandes C~ET~H,~~~ <br /> and BUtlE <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> MI RCER, <br /> <br /> <br />
