ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> STATEMENT OF SERVICES <br /> 1 Types of Sweeping Services. <br /> 1.01 Scheduled Service The Contractor will furnish scheduled sweeping <br /> service for those streets designated by City at the time of the execution of the contract. <br /> Residential street schedules shall be on the same day of the week except for holidays. All <br /> designated streets require sweeping along the curb and gutter. and require sweeping along <br /> the median curb. After the execution of the contract, City may add or delete other streets <br /> or portions of streets at the agreed contract rate. The City may request a change in the <br /> schedule within seven (7) day advance notice to the vendor. <br /> 1.02 Unscheduled Service The Contractor will also provide, if required by the <br /> City. unscheduled sweeping of any street or streets or portions of streets. The City will <br /> give Contractor a minimum twenty -four (24) hour notice for unscheduled sweeping. <br /> 1.03 Emergency Service The Contractor will also respond to emergency calls <br /> for service at any and all times of the day or night every day during the term of this <br /> contract within one (1) hour of being notified to provide such service. <br /> 2 Frequency of Service Residential areas shall be swept once per month. <br /> Commercial areas shall be swept twice per month. Designated downtown streets shown <br /> on the maps provided shall he swept twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. <br /> 3. Existing Streets The Contractor shall have sixty days (60) from the <br /> execution of this Agreement to verify the estimated curb miles of the streets shown. The <br /> Contractor or the City may ask for an adjustment to the contract price if the actual curb <br /> miles, as verified by the Contractor and agreed to by the Assistant Director of Public <br /> Works (the "Director') exceeds by five percent (5 of the estimated mileage by <br /> Category. <br /> 3.01 Downtown Route Main Street (from Bernal Avenue North to Old <br /> Stanley Boulevard) shall have the entire street surface swept. from curb to curb, including <br /> areas within button designated medians. <br /> 3.02 New City Streets New streets may be added by the Assistant Director <br /> during the term of this Agreement. Such streets shall be added to the street sweeping <br /> schedule and swept in accordance with receipt of notice of the streets to he added by the <br /> Contractor. New street miles will be added to and adjustment to the payment schedule on <br /> a pro -rata basis. <br /> 4 Days and Hours of Operation Scheduled service shall be Monday <br /> through Friday only. Sweeping of residential areas shall not start before 8:00 a.m. or <br />
