RESOLUTION NO. 08-073 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON SETTING <br />COMPENSATION FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, compensation for the City's management and confidential empbyees, <br />except the City Manager and City Attomey, is set forth in the City's Management and <br />Confidential Employees Compensaton Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the current Management and Confidential Employees Compensation Plan <br />expired on August 31, 2006; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to <br />increase the salary control points for each management and confidential classification to allow <br />for perfonnence-based salary increases not to exceed a pool equal to 4.09'a of management <br />compensation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />the folowing: <br />i n 7: Approves a revision to the Management and Confidential Employees <br />Compensation Plan to allow for perfomtance-based salary increases not to exceed a <br />pool equal to 4.09'0 of management compensation and authorizes the Cky Manager to <br />implement the revised Management and Confidential Employees Compensation Pian. <br />Ion 2: This resolution shall become eNective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton this 7°i day of November 2006. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, Cal'rfomia, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 7"' day of <br />November 2006, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Counalmembere Brozosky, McGovern, Sullivan, Thome, Mayor Hosterman <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Karen Diaz, City Cle <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Michael H.
