RESOLUTION NO. 07-154 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, CONCERNING COMPENSATION FOR MICHAEL H. ROUSH AS CITY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHEREAS, Michael H. Roush was appointed City Attomey of the City of Pleasanton on September 26, 1988 with compensation and benefits established in Resolution Nos. 88-476, 00- 007 and 04085; and WHEREAS, other benefits for the City Attomey, as a management employee, were most recently established by the adoption of Resolution No. 06-073 approving the City's 200&2007 ManagemenUConfidential Performance Compensation Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in order to amend the City Attorney's compensation resolution. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. The annual salary for the City Attomey is adjusted to $187,370 eNective September 1, 2007. SECTION 2. All other terms and conditions of employment as identified in Resolution Nos. 88-478, 00-007 and 0&073 shall remain in full force and effect, provided however, that the City Attorney's accrual rate for annual leave purposes should have been the same as other management employees but inadvertently was not and therefore that rate shall be applied retroactively from the City Attorney's tenth year of employment to the present. SECTION 3. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter h into the book of original resolutions. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on October 18, 2007.
