California Water Code Section 375-378 requires that a public entities to implement a water conservation plan by ordinance or resolution. Once a plan is implemented, even in years with adequate rainfall, promoting water conservation is good public policy and should be a normal function of the Retailers. • Definition: Water supplies are adequate to meet all the water demands of customers. • Message: We can deliver all the water our customers need, recognizing that customers should practice wise water use at all times. • Type: Voluntary • Expected Reduction: None targeted • Conservation: Basic water conservation measures and public information promoting wise water use and Best Management Practices when using water for residential, commercial or irrigation uses. STAGES OF ACTION A specific Stage of action will be declared and implemented as appropriate whenever there is a definable threat to the potable water supply. The actual Stage is declared and the level of conservation to be obtained will depend upon
