Water <br />A roopern(ive e(/ort o/ <br />the City of ! ivennom, the Citp of Plensamm~, <br />Dublin Snn Romon Services Disvict, <br />and the l alifomia Wares Service Company <br />communicated to the public to describe the state of water availability. <br />• Type: This defines whether the stage is voluntary or mandatory on the <br />part of the customer. <br />• Expected Reduction: This is an estimate of the range of reduction that <br />may be required under each stage of the Plan. A specific goal will be <br />defined when each stage of the Plan is activated. <br />NORMAL SUPPLY <br />Inclusion of "Normal Supply" in the Plan is an important level. California Water <br />Code Section 375-378 requires that a public entities to implement a water <br />conservation plan by ordinance or resolution. Once a plan is implemented, <br />even in years with adequate rainfall, promoting water conservation is good <br />public policy and should be a normal function of the Retailers. <br />• Definition: Water supplies are adequate to meet all the water demands <br />of customers. <br />• Message: We can deliver all the water our customers need, recognizing <br />that customers should practice wise water use at all times. <br />• Type: Voluntary <br />• Expected Reduction: None targeted <br />• Conservation: Basic water conservation measures and public <br />information promoting wise water use and Best Management Practices <br />when using water for residential, commercial or irrigation uses. <br />STAGES OF ACTION <br />A specific Stage of action will be declared and implemented as appropriate <br />whenever there is a definable threat to the potable water supply. The actual <br />Stage is declared and the level of conservation to be obtained will depend upon <br />
