ATTACHMENT 1 <br />PROPOSED ART GIFT TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />By Artist Debbie Wardrope <br />"Century House" by Debbie Wardrope <br />Medium: Pastel <br />Debbie Wardrope, a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, received her education at <br />the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California. She graduated "With <br />Distinction" with a BFA in illustration. She is a signature member of the Pastel Society <br />of the West Coast and is active in several regional art associations. She has had a solo <br />exhibition, participated in numerous group shows including Realism! at the Adobe Art <br />Gallery in Castro Valley and has exhibited at Art Expo New York. Her work has been <br />shown in a number of galleries from Yountville to Carmel and her paintings are in <br />many individual collections. <br />Debbie has also won numerous awards including Best of Class at the Alameda County <br />Fair and has done painting demonstrations for the Las Juntas Art Association, the <br />Pleasanton Art League and the Livermore Art Association as well as a workshop for <br />San Ramon Valley School District art teachers. She offers pastel painting classes for <br />adults and children's art classes through the City of Pleasanton. <br />
