14.3 Leaves Resulting from Subpoena Leaves of absence with pay shall be granted to a person while going to and from court ~nd answering a subpoena as a witness. The employee shall be paid the difference between his/her full salary and any payment received by him/her, except travel pay, for such duty. 14.4 Military Leave Military leave shall be granted in accordance with the provisions of law. All employees entitled to military leave shall give the Appointing Authority an opportunity within the limits of military regulations to determine when such leave shall be taken. Section 15. Health and Welfare Coverage 15.1 Hospital and Medical Effective July 1, 1984, the City shall contribute an amount not to exceed one-hundred eighty-five dollars and thirty-four cents ($185.34) per month per employee to provide health care coverage to employees and their eligible dependents under eith of the present Blue Cross or amended Kaiser "S" health care plans. Effective July 1, 1982 for the purpose of providing either of the aforementioned medical plan coverages to employees who retire for service (not disability) on or after their fiftieth (50th) birthday and who have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of service with the Pleasanton fire department, the City shall contribute an amount not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) per month per employee. Said monthly City contribution shall terminate on the employee's sixty-second (62nd) birthday. 15.2 Dental Effective July 1, 1982, the City shall contribute an amount not to exceed thirty-four dollars and fourteen cents ($34.14) per month per employee to provide dental care benefits under the City's present Banker's Life Nebraska Plan for the individual employee and eligible dependents. Effective July 1, 1983, the City's con- tribution shall be increased to an amount not to exceed thirty-seven dollars ($37.00) per month per employee. -15-
