AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> BSK & ASSOCIATES <br /> FOR <br />PROPOSED BERNAL AVENUE, DEL VALLE PARKWAY AND <br />SOUTH VERONA ROAD RAILROAD GRADE SEPARATIONS <br /> <br />PARTIES: <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is entered into this 24th day of July, 1984, <br />between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a Municipal Corporation in the <br />State of California, hereinafter called "City," and BSK & <br />Associates, a California corporation havinq a place of business <br />at 5729-G Sonoma Drive, Pleasanton, California, hereinafter <br />called "Engineer." <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, construction is set to begin for the proposed Bernal <br />Avenue, Del Valle Parkway, and South Verona Road Railroad Grade <br />Separations under the tracks of the Union Pacific Railroad <br />(formerly Western Pacific Railroad) in Pleasanton and in an <br />unincorporated area of Alameda County (herein called "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City desires to retain engineer to provide materials <br />testing services, and Engineer is qualified and licensed to perform <br />the professional engineering services required under the terms <br />of this agreement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties do agree as follows: <br /> <br />Section A - Scope of Services <br /> <br />The Engineer shall provide the following services: <br /> <br />Under the direction of the City Engineer, provide materials testing <br />services and observations, as outlined in the document entitled <br />"Special Provisions, Railroad Grade Separations with the Western <br />Pacific Railroad Company," Project 84-7 and in letter from BSK & <br />Associates to Jim Mills dated July 12, 1984, noted as Exhibit "B". <br /> <br /> <br />
