ATTACHMENT 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09- <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FIXED AND UNIFORM REFUSE <br />COLLECTION RATES FOR THE PERIOD APRIL 1, 2009 THROUGH <br />MARCH 31, 2011 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton (City) and Pleasanton Garbage Service, Inc. <br />(Contractor) have entered into an agreement for the exclusive collection, transportation <br />and disposal of dry garbage and refuse from the City of Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 9.20.090 of the City of Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code, rates for refuse services shall be set by a resolution approved by the <br />City Council of the City of Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor shall conduct all billing related to construction, <br />transportation, recycling and disposal of said garbage and refuse in strict accordance <br />with rates listed in such Resolution. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE <br />FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. The fee schedule set forth in Resolution No. is hereby <br />rescinded. <br />SECTION 2. The rates for the collection, transport and disposal of dry garbage <br />and refuse from the City of Pleasanton for Commercial Services, Residential Services <br />and for Transfer Station Services, are revised effective April 1, 2009 as outlined in <br />Exhibit A. <br />SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />passage and adoption. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on April 7, 2009. <br />1 <br />
