Exhibit A <br />Scope of Services <br />Proiect Understandine <br />The City of Pleasanton wishes to retain RRM Design Group to evaluate all sidewalks and curb ramps <br />located within public right of way in the City Limits of Pleasanton (Project Limits). Sidewalks with <br />horizontal or vertical deflections greater than %: inch and curb ramps not conforming to 28 CFR Part <br />36 (ADA Standards for Accessible Design) and the 2007 California Building Code will be mapped <br />using GIS software, with an accuracy greater than 2 feet horizontally. A GIS database will be created <br />for use by the City to complement its sidewalk and curb ramp replacement program. An executive <br />summary of the assessment, including costs of repairs and recommendations, will be prepared. <br />Task A: Proiect Startup <br />Upon notice to proceed RRM will immediately initiate project startup activities. Project startup <br />activities include a formal project kickoff meeting and equipment preparation. <br />Subtask A.1: Kickoff Meeting <br />RRM will schedule a kickoff meeting with the City's Project Manager and other key staff. The project <br />schedule and major milestones will be confirmed. RRM's standard evaluation procedure (flow chart) <br />will submitted to the City for review. Project meetings will be scheduled. A detailed set of meeting <br />minutes will be prepared with a table of items to be completed, person(s) responsible, and <br />completion date. <br />Deliverables: Prepare for and conduct one (1) Kick-Off Meeting <br />Meeting minutes <br />Subtask A.2: Define GIS Attributes <br />RRM will work with the City's Project Manager and GIS personnel to refine the standard evaluation <br />procedure, if necessary, to ensure the all attributes the City desires are collected. RRM will work <br />with the City's GIS personnel to ensure data attributes are compatible with the City's existing GIS <br />configuration. <br />Deliverables: Evaluation procedure and GIS attributes <br />Subtask A.3: Equipment Setup <br />RRM will set up the GIS data collection equipment and program the standard evaluation procedure <br />into the data collectors, based on the attributes defined in the previous task.
