it <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />March 17, 2009 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember <br />Sullivan led in the Pledge of Allegiance and provided the introductory remarks. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Mayor Hosterman <br />Absent: Councilmember Thorne <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS -None <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Administrative Services <br />Approved regular meeting minutes of February 17, 2009 <br />City Manager <br />2. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with MIG, Inc. in the amount <br />of $39,500 to provide assistance with the Youth Master Plan Update <br />3. Approved the appointment of Pre-school Parent-at-large Representative Jennifer Schmiegel, <br />to the Youth Master Plan Implementation Committee for the term of 4/2009 - 4/2013 <br />Community Development <br />4. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br />5. Approved plans and specifications, reviewed bids and awarded and authorized the City <br />Manager to execute a construction contract with Wingard Engineering Inc. in the amount of <br />$259,400 for traffic signal installation at the intersection of Stoneridge Mall Road and <br />Embarcadero Court, CIP No. 085054; authorized the City Engineer to approve and execute <br />change orders not to exceed $29,940; the transfer of $275,510 from the Stoneridge Business <br />Center Improvement Fund and Assessment District Expense Program into CIP No. 085054 to <br />fund said project <br />6. Adopted Resolution No. 09-270 changing the name of Fabian Court to Workday Way <br />7. Adopted Resolution No. 09-271 approving the Altamont Settlement Agreement Education <br />Advisory Board Expenditure Plan for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 <br />
