School Age Mothers/Fathers Work Experience Program <br />This program provides high-school aged mothers and fathers from Village High School <br />with basic work experience in an office setting. City departments train the young parents <br />on office etiquette, phone and in-person communication with the public and basic office <br />skills. <br />Foothill Band Review <br />The City works with the School District and the Pleasanton Downtown Association to <br />coordinate security, road closures, etc. for the band review to be carried out on Main <br />Street each year. <br />Community Grants to Pleasanton PTA Council <br />The City provides grants to help fund the following programs and/or services: PUSD <br />child abuse prevention workshops; Will & Co. classic theater program; the Passport to <br />Pleasanton multi-cultural festival; and the Talking to Youth Children about Sex brochure. <br />Page 8 of 8 <br />
